Great sketch Mick. Yesterday I was planning my oberving programme for the next few nights and it included this galaxy mainly because it was a Caldwell and Herschel 400 object. I am hoping to view it for the first time.

it's an amazing object as you can see stars within the galaxy, also if you look long enough knots appear
