Saturn last night

These is my third attempt at Saturn. Using a Nexstar 5SE, Neximager and 3x barlow. Focussing is a nightmare! Have downloaded Registax 5.1, but can't find any instructions, so just played. Interested in any views and what can I do to improve images such as this?

Not bad for 5" scope.

With 3 times barlow it is difficult to image Saturn. Try 2 times instead

i'm still learning the processing side

read lots of tutorials on here and other sites

my quick tip would be to upload avi to virualdub before using registax

delete the very worst frames say 50-100frames depending on how many u have captured

than save as vdubavi and

then use vdub'd avi with registax and do further processing
