Thanks Nick, I hope it was what the society wanted. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned for the warm welcome, I felt very much at home. Drive back was good - the advantage of night-time driving is that you can 'see round corners' on the twisty bits

It was...some of them are more in to visual as you could see from the show of hands, but I keep hoping that more will come over to the imaging side..

As a visual observer I thoroughly enjoyed the talk I found it very well structured and explained the process in a very clear manner. I would do imaging, but spend my daytimes playing with computers - I go for simplicity when observing

Maybe if I build an observatory one day ......
