Sunspot 904

Set my stuff up this afternoon ready for tonight (fingers crossed).

Whilst I had the 8"reflector on the EQ5 mount, I decided to fit some

Baader solar film to a hole cut in the scopes dust shield.

Got this of sunspot 904 using Toucam SC1.5, 20 frames Registax

Overcooked it a bit, the computer screen was very difficult to see in the sunlight.

Blimey thats a cracking image Phil from just badder solar film 8), can't wait to try this myself

PS:You could make a sunshade for ya lappy with just cardboard i reakon Phil although knowing your skills it will be made from wood with a barley twist 8)

Just going out to try for a better one.

Very surprised at the extra resolution of my 200mm compared to

what I can get from my 130mm reflector on these spots.

Good idea on the cover for the lappy...

very nice Phil! I've just been looking at this one and can't see the shape. Just shows how much of a difference 8" makes compared to 80mm hehe
