Did you use the polar scope?Hi Martin,Thanks for the kind comment, Rough Polar Alignment hehe as rough as it gets really what i meant by this is moving the Mount so it was pointing roughlt towards Polaris then looking up the Mount rather than the Polar scope and centering the top of the mount so Polaris was in the middle pretty much as simple as that. I didnt look into the Polar Scope, this normally gives me 30 secs with the ED80 which is enough due to Light Pollution/Moon glow, ive managed 45 secs doing this in the past on the odd occation but like i said the Light Pollution renders 45secs or plus useless even with a Moon glow filter that said at my location you do get some nights when it's better and 45secs and prob 1min can be used.James Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
