Synscan AZ GOTO location...

When i setup my GOTO system it asks for a location as follows

000* 00' W 00* 00' N

* = degree symbol

Now, everytime is seek details i get 2 results as to my location in long/lat and degrees...

Latitude = 51.4004, Longitude = -3.2529

Lat = X degrees, 24.0 minutes North

Long = X degrees, 15.2 minutes West

I have changed this just to cover myself from detailed location being public, lol

Just curious do i enter the 51.4004 etc or the X degrees/ Minutes....?

I put degrees and mins in mine and it works fine - dunno if you can do the other format - guess I'll read the manual lol

Thanks for the reply, guess ive been putting it in wrong aswell! Could be why its not as accurate as id have liked it to be! lol

For the format you have stated you will input as degrees and minutes. Think this was as the last one I helped set up.

it does ask for North/East/South/West etc, so guess it is more obvious than i first thought! Wow feel kinda dumb now lol

Not such a dumb question really - lots of handsets take either or both formats - so it's easy to be confused a little with an unfamiliar one
