H-alpha Filter Help

Towa

Recommended Posts

Won in a competition, the box says Baader H-alpha Interline camera 35nm CCD-Filter (part No. 2458381).

I don't know anything about it, apart from the adverts on the net, which don't really explain anything to me.

Will this filter work with my standard Canon 350D? If not, then I will sell it.

Many thanks.

If your 350D hasnt been modified, then it will be very poor at collecting Ha wavelengths. Not much point in keeping it if you dont intend to have the camera modded or move to a CCD imaging system.

Peter, it's the 1.25" version.

The link gives some information about it.

Here is a picture I've taken of the box (never even opened the box),

they retail for around £75, but when I sell it I will let it go for below half-price to anyone on here if interested.
