Help Baader Converter Thingy

Just been having a root around trying to see what I can use to have a very amateurish go at astrophotos. Anyway, i was looking around and i found this :-

Where it shows a camcorder connected, that is MY camcorder, well, should I say mines the same, thing is i can't figure out what adapter they've used, can anyone help with this?

EDIT, if it helps, I have figured that if I take an antares x2 barlow and unscrew the eyepiece holder bit , I can then screw the camcorder direcly to the barlow which in effect allows me to fit camcorder with 2x barlow into the 1.25 focusser.

if i can pull this off, in theory it should work quite well as my camcorder is a panasonic 3ccd one, supposedly they are very good at low light levels.

If you remove the rubber eyepiece cup there is an M43 thread. The pdf suggests the camera is attached directly using the camera's filter thread.

That's what it looks like, but it isn't, the hyperion thread is slightly larger than the camcorder one.

What I have so far:-

A = Barrel part of a barlow with eyepiece holder part unscrewed

B = 1.25 eyepiece holder unscrewed from the dovetailed 2" part that fits to focuser

Does the bottom of part B have a T thread ?

Reading the pdf file a bit closer, the eyepiece is supposed to attach directly using the M43x0.75 thread.

After further looking, the camcorder lens has a thread of 37mm, Baader EP's have a 43.

Yes B is screwed to the camcorder so that must also be a 37mm thread, so really i just need to convert 37 to 43, that baader pdf is misleading.

Also, if you look at my camera above, and you're familiar with hyperions, they definitely have something inbetween, it's a thicker grey coloured thing, looks like it not only 'couple' but is extended a bit.

You will need a SP54 / M37 adapter ring. On the right hand side of the first pdf is a list of SP54 adapters for afocal photography.

Mission accomplished, got the necessary part from a camera shop, also got parts sorted to connect my Finepix S5600 to the hyperion. Watch for the clouds rolling in now!

Should be all set up now to video the moon and planets. Got Registax, and something to convert video files to .avi ? You may also need a barlow for planets to get the scale up.

No barlow needed, the camcorder is connected to an 8mm hyperion which with fine adjustment rings goes to 4.3mm. No got registax yet, walking first lol.
