Great report. I would love to spend a night with a 20" dob under dark skies. I've never seen the spiral structure in galaxies visually so am very jealous. M51 and M104 must fantastic in a big scope like that. You'll have no probs with NGC2158 through a 12", it can be seen in a 6" under dark skies.
