Double cluster - how to improve

Using the advice from SGL I've made some improvements to my M42 shots. I thought I'd move to a different target for a while and try and apply the same tips you've been giving me to that!

Here is my first(ish) double cluster, it's 27x30s exposures. I've used ImageJ to remove the background and enhance the contrast. My first thought for improvement is better alignment so I can get longer than 30s exposures and get less elongated stars. Anything else you guys can suggest to improve it?

Here you go, not sure if it is quite the same as I didn't save the uncropped version :-)

It was the uncropped version I wanted to play with, no worries you will have remember to save all your revisions next time.

Any chance of the 16bit data? I also prefer PNG compression over JPG (or use JPG in lossless mode).

That's one BIG file. I will process it when I get back from Italy (Friday 12)
