Pleiades occultation

the Pleiades occultation happens on the 21st or Feb. I've never seen or heard of this before. So I'm gona give it a go. Hopefully it will be a pretty thing to watch. Any who have seen these before, I would love to hear about them.

I dont think the occultation includes any of the main stars in the cluster. I think it involves a few stars just below M45 (although i'm sure these stars ARE part of the cluster). Probably best to observe with a scope using say a 20mm EP. as this will allow the whole moon to be in your FOV while giving enough magnification.
