What kind of Len's do i use with a cannon 300D? can i use a 500-1000 mirror lens and can you do deep sky as well as planets with an LPI. I also have a focal reducer that fits the LPI. And can someone tell me how you get colour pictures using monocrome

When most people ask after a mirror-lens for a Canon DSLR, they usually mean the Tamron 500 f8 SP.

I know an astro imager who used this lens successfully with Canon manual focus (FD fit) cameras but when he switched to a Canon digital SLR (EF fit) he found it unable to focus on infinity.
