Spitting - help with HEQ5

I've got both the HEQ5pro and the NEQ6pro mounts.

They are "rated" for 2A, but I honestly haven't measured the current draw.

I can tell you from experience that a 20 Ah gel battery, connected via a car laptop transformer ( 12v > 15v) and using EQMOD and GOTO slewing etc etc will outlast my observing stamina every time. I'll get a whole night ( at least 3- 4hr) and then just pop the battery back on charge and it's ready the next night....

I've ordered a power converter Peter recommended in another thread a couple of weeks ago. It has two teminals, and I can use the cigar socket I have (lying around somewhere...). The tank should be enough for the grab-and-go kit when camping.
