Electro-luminescent Panel for FLATS

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question [and I suspect it is], but :)...

If you are taking photos at a star party (or similar) and need to take flats before moving on to the next object, doesn't light 'spill out' from your rectangular light panel attached to a round tube ;), causing all the 'visual' people to throw a wobbly :D:mad: (or other things)?

Thanks

I personally have covered the excess panel I have so there is no light spill. The other thing to note, often people are only on a single target for a night (or possibly several nights) and usually get their flats after the session, often after astronomical darkness has ended anyway, I have never heard of anyone complaining.

Steve..
