Mars from the early hours of the 5th

Had a few hassles not directly related to the cold as my laptop decided to run a disk check before I could do anything (new hard disk or a re-format may be on the horizon)

Anyway, managed three more AVIs until my old friends the clouds appeared. Up to then, the seeing was pretty good. The first two images are with a 3 x Barlow and the last was with a 4 x Imagemate. During that capture conditions were starting to go which is noticeable in the final image.

Nice one Geoff, def your best this season so far, colour on the first looks good, the last not so. But if you stick to that kind of balance on the first you cant go wrong. Still time left to better these, so everything to get out in the freezing weather for in the next few weeks. Like it. well done

I like them all! The last shows a bit more detail in places even though the colour is a bit different.
