DBK21 what settings?

I have tried different codec avi files with my DBK21 and one method recommended by Image Source developers is to shoot Y800 Device and Y800 video compressor and afterwards select Debayer in Regixstax. It never worked for me as the image turns green always

Can anyone advice what the best video compressor and Device setting in IC capture for DBK21 ?

I'm surprised there are no replies to this post .... yet ....

I'm also having a little trouble with getting colour out of the Y800 settings.

I have tried using the Registax 5 debayer settings as suggested in another post but to no avail.

Hi:

I am also trying to learn all the various settings on my DBK21.

I did find that the y800 and y800 does work though (after a lot of false starts.)

If you enable debayering on the camera...set to GB and do the rest of the settings...Then just before you record, click on enable debayer (which will disable same)...then you are on the way!

Thanks for the advice which I tried last night.

Unfortunately when I processed my first image in Registax 5 - using Debayer and GB the image looked fine in colour before I aligned & stacked it but then it went black & white again and when I zoomed in it was obviously not debayered.

I'll have another go and see if I can get it right.

I found out what was wrong - Registax !!

I needed to upgrade to version 5.1.9.2 as there was a known error (at least to other people) in the version I was running.
