Deep sky viewing with 15x70 binos

Last night whilst my wife was viewing Strickly Come Dancing :D I noticed that the sky had become totally clear so I grabbed the Celestron Skywatcher 15x70 for a study of the low constellations in the south.

Started with Cetus and Sculptor and could pick up the faint glow of NGC253 - I knew the sky was very clear. Moved over to view NGC908 easily found its location but not visible in the binos.

Down to Fornax easily picked up the stars Alpha, Beta and Nu - tried to see NGC1097 not visible. However seeing Beta which is below -32 Dec was very pleasing.

Finally moved up to M77 visible in the Binos then clouds came over.

Conclusion 15x70 Binos can show some great sights and very useful for getting to know star fields especially those low constellations.
