Nikon camera parts

I contacted Nikon UK to obtain parts to repair a damaged DSLR, but they say 'due to the need for the customer to open the casing, and hazardous voltages inside, they are unable to supply the parts' Elf n safety, no doubt.

I have the camera open anyways, and have the part no's for the parts I need. And I'm well able to effect the repair myself.

Its accidental damage, and, most likely, 'beyond economic repair' So going to a repair shop would be cost-prohibitive.

Does anyone know how I can obtain the required Nikon parts?

I have seen Nikon spare parts for sale on ebay, it's worth checking out..

This is a long shot , dependant on what you need to fix . I have used them for bits and bobs for my film cameras ( film , remember that ) . It is possible that they may have the item/s you require.

Micro-Tools Europe (English) . Lots of great tools in their catalogue. Hope this helps,
