Finally decided on scope

Well after much pondering,I am getting a Celestron 6" SGT. Its got the computer,wedge,the tripod is more beefy than the 5SE so I think this will be a better overall package for astrophotos. Just gotta get it ordered this week. Woot!

Excellent choice, it's a great scope! Just don't forgot so dew prevention....your first observing session could be very very short otherwise. But i'm sure you've been advised of this anyway.

The Celestron 6 SGT, is this what I need for astrophotography, if so can it be mounted on a pier, am still searching and asking dumb questions .
