Yes I s'pose I am

I had almost given up on Jupiter, and had my sights set on Mars. But Mars has been notoriously difficult for us southern, city dwellers mainly due to low level seeing effects. To ease the withdrawal symptoms I had another crack at Jupiter, and was pleasantly surprised that the seeing around sunset isn't too bad here, although you can watch it degrade quickly soon after sunset

I'm still learning:)

My method is to get out as often as I can and try as many things as I can think of.

Strangely but seriously I think experience has taught me the most valuable lessons as well as guidance from friends. I can scarecly think of much that I do different from when I was beginning, but the results are clearly better

I would advise anyone to keep trying as this course alone will bring improvement. The best gear on it's own won't
