Practical Astronomer - Got defaulted money back

Hi All,

After several failed attempts to contact PA (over several months) , I filed a claim at HMCS Money Claim Online - http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk . To be frank, I did this out of frustration with lack of communication from PA.

In a week's time, I received a handwritten letter of apology from Eddie, but no refund. Proof enough that he is in a position to communicate (if asked by a court to do so). After a few weeks of court paperwork back and forth, I received the defaulted money in addition to the court fee back from Eddie.

Of particular interest is in a communication from Eddie to the court in a form called Part Admission - "Current issues of the magazine are not being published and it is not known whether it will continue in the future".

I hope this information fills up at least some of the void that subscribers of PA have been facing.

Such a shame as it was a great magazine, although i haven't subscribed for a long time.
