NGC6939 and NGC6946

These 2 caught my eye last year, and made it onto my 'list'. I was looking for a 'quick' target the other night whilst waiting for the clouds to tumble over the UK, and these 2 seemed to fit the bill, and the Field of View of my WO Zenithstar 66.

The clouds were merciful as well, so I was able to grab several hours worth of data. I started with 18 x 300 second Luminance frames (clear filter), and then did 10 x 120 second with RGB filters. Then I went back to Luminance for some 600 second shots to try and bring out more in the galaxy. I think it worked quite well!

Anyway, here is the image:

Thanks for looking - comments welcome,

Cheers,

Richie
