Why the weather is bad

I have a theory as to why the weather is staying so bad.

You buy a new Astronomical "toy" which means of course a run of bad weather which causes you after a period of time to look at all the nice shiny astronomical toys and out of boredom buy something which causes a period of bad weather............................

I get bad weather just thinking about buying something...

Maybe we should all become involved in an experiment - a total amnesty on buying anything astronomical for a month - then we can see if the negative effect on the weather is real or perceived! It might work......
