Eclipse trip in S@N magazine...

Anyone else seen the trip advertised on this months Sky at Night mag? I'm very tempted, 2 days/1 night in southern Turkey for £360. I've always promised myself I'd go a see one, the break isn't to long and I'd guess theres a good chance of clear skies in Turkey.

the trip is for the 28/29 March, the eclipse will occur around noon (ish) on the 29th.

Having just returned from Southern Turkey, I can confirm skies are clearer than a clear thing! However, the seeing was poor due to LP and haze, mind you, with daytime temps of 45+, it ain't no wonder.

March should be much cooler so the seeing should be much better, and the wet weather should have passed as well. Sounds like a good opportunity Gaz.
