Yup... It'll work, but I think you'd be better off with a (more expensive) HEQ5 or EQ6. IMHO, you'll buy a EQ6 at some point so...

I have a SW ED80 plus canon 1000d that I use on a CG5 GT it copes ok but the goto is not as acurate on the CG5 on my one compared to the HEQ5 pro that I had before. If you can cope with the weight I would go with either of the SW pro mounts.

Yes I do and I actually have one currently up for sale ... Being honest though I woulndt reccomend it for astrophotography unless at very short focal lengths
