First double

OK, Castor may not be the most interesting of double stars to take a picture of, but it is relatively easy for my first attempt, being 1m9/2m9 with a healthy couple of seconds separation. This is the actual image size, but I just cut out the extraneous black stuff. Going to experiment on double stars with the neximager to see how far I can push it, so will probably be back with further examples shortly.

Or, if I discover this is as far as I can push it, maybe not!

nice pic.

At 1/5 second most bright pairs should be doable.

I would shorten the total exposure time as 1000 frames should be more than enough.
