Hi to the new members. Surprised me as this time of year is not good for this hobby and I for one have not been able to observe due to clouds and lack of dark time.

I know what you mean re weather and "light nights" CC. I haven't done any observing / imaging since mid May, and probably wont until mid August. Still, it gives me time to play with bits of equipment and see if I can get the LPI working with the Office Laptop (it does). So that when dark skies return, I can get out with the new toys - and play.

I use SGL to keep in touch with Astro gossip at this time, and see what others (further south) can see and do.

Incidentally, welcome to all the newer SGL members - post a "hello" and tell us about yourself.
