Double Cluster

I was adding subs to my IC342 picture and then the moon came up so I thought I'd give the ol' Double Cluster a bit of attention. It's not much but has come out ok, certainly shows that I need a MPCC.

Very nice Sam. I thought of doing the same but was short on battery life on the lappy.

Thats a beautiful capture Sam the star colour is great. As you say all it needs to be spot on is a coma corrector

Very nice, good tight stars and you've got the colours just about right! I know, some images that you see of the Double are overcooked, but you could afford to give this one just a bit more depth, I'm sure you'd pull off a good result.

That is one of my favourite things to look at. I can spend ages just visually looking at this.

Cannot have too many Double Clusters as it is a glorious sight visually in refractors and your image captures the richness. John.

Thanks for the comments, it's quite a nice pair of clusters and very photogenic. Might have another go at it when I get a MPCC as it's very big on the chip.
