Something very different from me !

Hi

I took delivery of a Celestron C8 N the other day with it's Rack & Pinion Focuser (will have to replace it when I get chance). I took this image of Scheat in Pegasus to test how well the collimation was ( I know too much of an easy target for me) 6mins worth of 30 sec subs. I can't wait for a steady night to image something more challenging, eg, M33.

Shows that it is all working fine but star is a strange colour also some coma there needs correcting. JohnH.

Well Scheat is orange in colour & shows more of that orange/reddish with the modded camera I was using, regarding the coma - unfornately that is apparent in newtonians - maybe a coma corrector will do the job unless someone knows a cheaper way.
