Occasionally there is a strange bright object in the sky today, I think it might be the Sun grin.gif

CaK: AR1026 (the "big one") still present as an extensive network of plage, now quite close to the SW limb. AR1027 visible as a small & weak area of plage right on the NW limb.

White Light: No spots or pores visible. AR1026 visible as an extensive but very weak patch of faculae.

Ha: AR1026 still appears to be fairly active, with several bright plage patches embedded in a large disturbed area. AR1027 hard to see. Nothing else of any consequence on the disk; a small prominence on the E limb and a row of very small spike proms pointing at strange angles on the SW limb, possibly associated with AR1026.
