Imaging with an achro M27

Although I'm lucky enough to own an ed120 I was curious to see what could be done with an achro . They always seem to get a bad press regards imaging. I have used a fringe killer at prime focus on an omni 120. There are 15 mins red , green and blue. Processing takes a bit longer to balance up the colours.

A very nice result Trevor, lovely colour and superb detail in the nebula, I think you could challenge anyone to differentiate if they were not told.

Thanks for taking the time and posting this Trevor Very useful to me indeed as I recently picked up a cheap achro. Still lacking funds for a minus violet filter atm, but I'm very pleased to see that I should be able get some good images once I'm all kitted up...

Yep, focussing the colours individually obviates the CA problem nicely
