imaging source

i have just got a colour ccd though the software is very diffrent to the dsi software. can any one explain how to use the software ,ive had a go and it records a avi file and saves it under videos, what do i have to do ??

ive looked on imaging source its not very helpfull

Suggest you download Registax (free!) and run the AVI through it.

i have registack so all i have to do is align and stack and i will have a coloured image

Yep, there are settings in Registax you can tweak but thats broadly speaking all there is to it.

ok got the hang of that now how do i get a colour image ive been reading up on debayering images but i can figure out what the settings have to be on both software and registack and any one help on this one thanks toby

hello again ive got it up and running now thanks for your help guys. i understand that you can do deep sky aswell so i tried my luck , didnt go so well could not get any focus what so ever ,i focused it on vega first then went across to m13 though nothing came up on the laptop so i adjusted the exposure but still no results, any ideas thanks toby
