Wobbly scope

Recommended Posts

My Skywatcher is really too wobbly and I fear it needs to be moved on, but as I am building a 16" Dob its hard to justify anything of greater expense. Maybe I should trade it, by the by, for a better second hand device. I'm lucky at the moment, I can leave the scope set up in the living room and just pop it outside if I think a viewing session is in the offing and its an advantage I'd be reluctant to lose to a bigger scope.

Dunno really, but I hate the wobbles! The guys at Salisbury star party really showed the way with their wobble free EQ5s and the like!

What scope do you have David ? (it's not in your signature).
