G4YVM
My Skywatcher is really too wobbly and I fear it needs to be moved on, but as I am building a 16" Dob its hard to justify anything of greater expense. Maybe I should trade it, by the by, for a better second hand device. I'm lucky at the moment, I can leave the scope set up in the living room and just pop it outside if I think a viewing session is in the offing and its an advantage I'd be reluctant to lose to a bigger scope.Dunno really, but I hate the wobbles! The guys at Salisbury star party really showed the way with their wobble free EQ5s and the like! david
Doc
Can't you fix the wobble. Where's it from anyway, maybe we can help.

G4YVM
Apologies for the lack of info. its a skywatcher 3" refractor on the supplied tripod with synscan. Its pretty good, just flexible. That is to say, it does what it says it should, but EQ5 it aint.David
