had about haalf an hour or so last night from the northern edge of salisbury.

Excellent views of Jupiter through the Skywatcher 3" refractor. Then onto the coathanger and binos...lovely. i never tire of asterisms.

Triangulum I believe fell next onto my retinas. The moon was bright and beautiful and a general scan of the heavens finished the evenings short session.

Nice read David. Sounds like one of those nights where even though you only spend a relatively short time outside, you come in feeling like you have achieved something. And the simple things are frequently the best. Just easily recognising a constellation makes me happy.
