I have got myself a vixen 80mm refractor,what i need to start the mod would be a 2" focuser,anyone got any ideas where or what i should get.I also need the adapters to join the etalon .

I have been speaking with Nick H about this mod i just need to sourse the bits.

Interestingly the thread on the back of the Etalon is nearly the same as the SCT thread

I have a Sky watcher focuser for the SCT

I use

Found camera

The 200mm distance between the Et and the BF can be adjusted to give focus the few mm of travel does not seem to affect the image or change the sweet spot

The BF is mounted in an old 2" adaptor that has been widened out by lathe to take the 5 mm BF

Mine's more a draw tube to get the 200mm :-)
