Kaptain Klevtsov
Did a snap of the HEQ5 and OMC140 today. The van is where they live, it's more secure than our house.Captain Chaos
GordonCopestake
Nice setup CC. I like the Van idea..... Although i think my shed is prettier
Kaptain Klevtsov
But this was cheaper (free). We had super secure locks fitted when it was in use to keep the magpies away from the tools. Now it looks after the astro kit. Cooling down isn't much of an issue if the stuff lives in a van either (though that would be the same for a shed).Next job is to sneak a 240V power system into it and install a computer.Captain Chaos

Kaptain Klevtsov
Gordon, try Googling "plasma cutter". You should get the idea from that. For those that don't know, its what they cut Ripley out with in Aliens opening scene.Captain Chaos
GordonCopestake
I always liked plasma cutters. Although im quite fond of water cutters too. Saying that i was amazed the first time i saw laser cutters working
Kaptain Klevtsov
oddly enough Gordon, I'll be in Congleton next week at the airbags factory watching the laser cutters making the blanks for the fabric bags. Not a million miles from you is it?I like the Star Trek technology that we can play with today. Ever "autographed" a piece of 6mm steel plate? Awesome.Captain Chaos
