Iris Nebula : NGC 7023

Managed to get 90 mins worth of RGB on the Iris Nebula NGC 7023 the other night.

So much cloud and rain recently, I was going stir crazy.

Night came to an end with dew and thin cloud issues, but managed to get something out of the subs for this faint ish object.

Taken with Skywatcher Evostar ED120 Pro Diamond Black refractor on EQ6 Pro mount with ED80 guide scope and QHY5 guide cam.

5 min subs at ISO 800 with EOS 350D Baader Modded and Astronomik CSL LP filter. Total 90 mins. Darks, flats and dark flats applied.

For 90min it's a very good effort. Shame about the weather though, a good 2-3 hours of data would have made a difference.
