Moon with a SW150 /F8 Achro

Grabbed a few quick shots with the 150mm F8 Achro and Nikon D70 at prime focus.

It was a bit of a rush tonight, only had less than an hour before it got too low in the sky.

It was nice to see the Moon appear as this has been the first sighting for me since the new Moon

The focussing is a bit of a nightmare.

The Nikon D70 has a small view finder so it's quite difficult to see the focus point. It's a case of taking twenty shots to get one half decent shot.

Maybe one day I'll be looking through a Nikon D90 with live view.
