My First Galaxy M31

Managed to get an image of my first galaxy, took a while to get the focus right and they by that it was disappearing behind a tree so this was only a single shot at 5 seconds with an 80ED and a Canon 1000D :hello2:still i am quite happy with this one as its somehting i have been wanting to try and capture since i first started, i can only improve now.

Great feeling isnt it to get a picture of something that happened 3 million years ago!

Certainly is, it boggles the mind trying to get your head around it. I always wonder if someone is looking back at the Milky way doing the same thing.
