May day Moon

Here's a pic of the Moon from last night, conditions were poor with a slight mist but still i think the image is ok

Taken with a ST102 refractor and Canon 300D at prime focus iso 400, 5 images stacked in Registax3.

Thanks Martin, yeah gives a nice feeling to how fast the Phase's of the Moon change and at what Rate..

Very nice

I tried a few moon images but ditched them due to mist and a boiling

atmosphere.

It was a beautiful site though, love crescent moons.

Good image for the seeing conditions, it was very bad where I was.

Like you I took quite a few pics of the moon. The only half decent one I got was of the crescent, the close ups on the terminator were misty and 'boiling'. I binned them all as well.

Thanks for the Comments, yes it was poor conditions i think using a lower powered Telescope certainly helped to get rid of the Boiling Moon and Mist hehe..

One that I didn't bin of Mare Crisium, looked at it on screen and started to see strange things
