First Planetary Image in years!

Well, the C8 needed a workout on a Planet - Jupiter was up early this morning, so I shot 100 0.1 second x RGB with the SXV-H9. Unfortunately, I didn't remove the .63 Focal Reducer, so its a bit small.

Still - its been a long while since I shot a planet! I'll have to crank up the webcam and the barlow next time.

Cheers,

Richie

Well - I tried the webcam and barlow this morning - it was Rubbish!

I couldn't get a bright enough star to use the bahtinov on - mainly because I can't seem to control the exposure length. Ah well - I am sure that once I figure out how to focus the webcam properly, things will improve. In the meantime, I might just have another go with the H9 and barlow :)
