EQ6 bolts questions

Hi All,

I have bought EQ6 Replacement Altitude Adjustment Bolts from astrodevelopments. Are there any instructions for replacement? Or do I just unscrew and screw in? Just wanted to make sure before I ruin something.

Also I have bought an counter-weight extension rod. How do I replace the existing one?

Just unscrew the old bolts and screw in the new ones...Easy peezy!!

Just take the weight of the mount as you unscrew them and screw the new ones in.

As for the counterweight bar, you need to remove the "Puck" Loosen the 3 little grub screws around the outside of the "Puck" - (Careful not to unscrew them too much or they'll fall out and end up in that dark horrible place in the corner of the garage with all of the other important little washers and bolts you can never find.....)

And lift off the puck..Slide up and out the old bar and slide in the new one! Refit the puck tightening the three grub screws evenly and make sure they are nice and tight...But not too tight if you see what I mean

(You'll need imperial allen keys for that job)
