Theophillus and Cyrillus

Due to my not paying attention during capture, this one was too dark. Therefore, I well over-processed it trying to save it.

Anyway, it's a stack of approx. 950 of the best frames captured with the DMK-31 mono-usb camera & a CPC-1100. Processed with Registax 5 and lots of other trial and error tweaks that didn't turn out so well....Lol.

I'm no imager, but yes, it does look a bit over processed "Doug." Shame, as it would have been an excellent image of a popular subject on the Moon.

A gallant effort Doug. I shouldn't worry about it, there's no crime here. In fact it doesn't look too bad really. Lots of detail is seen, but perhaps a bit too sharp.

As Philsail said, there is another time.

That is a wonderful shot. I have to say, I prefer the second, even if it technically shows less detail, it has more of a 3D look to it and more natural contrast (IMHO)!

Good shot Doug, second version works best for me too. It's often tempting to over-sharpen a shot if the seeing isn't that great (especially at this time of year when it scrapes the trees!)
