M57 Widefield 7x240s ISO400

I hadn't bothered processing this data ..

It was only 7x240s ISO 400 Modded 1000D on Megrez 72 FF III IDAS P2 whilst waiting for the main event...

y'know, looking at this, I think I may have swooped past M57 a few times.

Is it naturally reddish in appearance through the eyepiece?

It looks like a grey smoke ring in the eyepiece, I've never seen any colour just grey.

I agree have looked through quite a few different scopes at m57 and it's always grey.

M57 is almost lost in there so i can imagine what its like trying to find in a scope...

M57 was the first ever neb that i tried to image with my ETX105 and DSI IC.. I still havent managed to produce a close up image of it to my satisfaction
