The whale and the shrimp?

NGC 4656 and NGC 4631 taken through a SW 200mm newt at prime focus with a canon 1000D. 17 x 3 min exposures. This one really needs more subs but the cloud closed in. The shots became more and more orange throughout the session , Regards , Trevor

Bit of a gradient, is that from the approaching daylight?

Should be easy to remove though.

Nice capture Trevor.....I just ran it through Gradient Xterminator for you. It's a program well worth having and generaly makes short work of gradients like the one in your image.

For this, I selected the background so as not to affect the galaxies also.
