Didn't know how this would work from my moderatly light polluted site. I've waited until now since my western horizon looks out to the peak district and is much better than the Chesterfield light show extravaganza over to the east.

This was taken with an FSQ 106 with 0.73 reducer and a QSI 532 camera. A little bit undersampled at this short f/l but super fast. The optimal sub times with a CLS filter were 40 secs! No need to bin the colour!

95x40 secs lum R+G 39x40secs B 39x60secs

I messed up the framing a bit and the whole thing should have been rotated more anticlockwise. Poor preparation.

Just great to have 2 perfectly clear nights on the trot without work the next day and time to set up at leisure. Gardening Saturday, sailing Sunday, walking in Derbyshire Monday, glorious sunshine. If Carlsberg made weekends....

It is indeed a very nice picture, with a load of stuff coming through.

This target must be desirable because of the faint stuff that pervades it I would guess.
