Highburymark Posted September 16 Share Posted September 16 The amazing thing about one of the flares (it may have been the CME in this thread) over the weekend was that it was visible in white light. Neil H Posted September 16 Author Share Posted September 16 I saw the bright flare so grab my phone when I looked back in the eyepiece it had shot a prom out in to space it was about 10 mm from the surface the prom was about 5 mm in size and over the next few minutes went out of the FOV I was using my 60 mm DayStar solar scout with a 25 mm eyepiece with 62 deg wide field of view Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
