Focusing issues

Milliways

Recommended Posts

The easiest remedy, is to focus on a bright star first, then without touching the focuser again, move to the faint target and start your exposures. If your focuser has a lock screw, then lock it off when you have a good focus on the bright star. Stars, galaxies and nebulae are all at Infinity, so the same focus can do for all of them.
