On the Isle of Skye last week. The dark skies really do make the stars sparkle. Both of these are single shots - 15 seconds at ISO 640 using a Sony A7III and a Viltrox 16mm at f1.8.

Ah stunning. Airglow is very apparent in the second image. 🙂

Zodiacal light is present too at the moment - about an hour after sunset. Look to the west. It will be very easy to capture under those dark skies.

I was over for the week and this, not unsurprisingly, was about the only clear early night that I had! Many thanks for the information though 👍🏼
