90mm f6 refractor for observing planets is any good?

We haven't had any measurable rain here in our part of Texas for a month.  That doesn't mean it's been clear skies.  We've had clouds at least half of that time just teasing us.  30 years ago, we had much more predictable rain patterns in our area.
